May 20: NYC - Mechanic's Liens - What's It All About? #MCLE

Mechanic’s liens are a powerful tool in New York to secure monies due contractors and others who provide labor and materials to improve real property. This course will provide an exhaustive discourse on the use of mechanic’s liens on both public and private improvements, as well as the steps that owners may take to respond to the liens. Stuart Zisholtz, Esq. will begin by discussing general principles of the Lien Law, and will proceed with an examination of work covered, lienable property, enforcement and defense, and other items of import. He will conclude by addressing trust funds and foreclosure proceedings.
