May 2: Teleconference - LULAC v. Deininger and Frank v. Walker – The Future of Wisconsin’s Voter ID Law #MCL

Please join us for a CLE Conference Call with Jim Eichner, Managing Director of Programs, Advancement Project; Charles G. Curtis, Jr., Partner, Arnold & Porter LLP; and John Ulin, Partner, Arnold & Porter LLP. On April 29, a federal court ruled that 2011 Wisconsin Act 23, the Wisconsin voter ID law, violates Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act and imposes an unjustified burden on the right to vote in violation of the Fourteenth Amendment. Join us to hear details about the court’s decision and its likely impact on the Wisconsin voter ID law and similar laws in other states.
