October 4: Telecon - Back to Work? The Continuing Judicial Vacancy Crisis

With 95 current and 17 future vacancies in the federal courts, and 39 jurisdictions operating under judicial emergencies, judicial vacancies continue to create crises in our courts.  The fight over the D.C. Circuit, its nominees and its number of seats, provides the latest evidence of bitter divisions in the Senate over federal judges and courts.  This call will address the prospects for nominations and confirmations in the remainder of this Congress.
