Explore the impact these cases may have and are already having, and tactics and strategies organizations should consider to help control their e-discovery costs and risks. Learn what the courts are saying about searching, culling, reasonableness, litigation holds, custodian self-collection, etc. Hear the latest rules on issues related to Facebook wall posts, tweets, instant messages, and text messages at work.

About the Speakers

Marc Fulkert, Associate, Jones DayMarc Fulkert focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation involving contract disputes, class actions, bankruptcy, internal investigations, tax, and trade secret matters. In addition, Marc devotes a significant portion of his practice to e-discovery issues. He has counseled clients on litigation hold issues, e-discovery readiness, and reducing e-discovery costs.
Marc has represented such clients as American Electric Power, Cardinal Health, Computer Sciences Corporation, The Dayton Power and Light Company, Dell, Diebold, Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp., R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, and Verizon.
Stacy Jackson, Corporate Counsel, IE Discovery, Inc.
Stacy joined IE Discovery in 1995 as a Legal Research Analyst and was named Corporate Counsel in 2001. She has managed IE Discovery’s Legal Services team of more than 50 attorneys and paralegals, working directly with client attorneys in charge of cases and coordinating project management to ensure quality deliverables. Prior to her tenure with IE Discovery, Stacy’s law firm background involved representing clients in medical malpractice and product liability suits. She has extensive work experience in employment law, government contracts, and affirmative cost recovery for environmental matters.
Stacy is a licensed attorney in Maryland and a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel of America. She holds a bachelor’s degree in jurisprudence and a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore. As primary legal content developer for IE Discovery’s Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program, Stacy researches and analyzes case law and legal technology trends on an ongoing basis.
