#Scholarships for ALI-ABA CLE Programs may cut or eliminate cost for eligible attorneys

The American Law Institute (ALI-ABA) writes at http://scholarships.ali-aba.org/:
"As a service to the legal profession, full and partial scholarships are available for ALI-ABA’s live courses, webcasts, and online CLE (on-demand web courses). In an effort to provide equal educational opportunities to all, ALI-ABA awards scholarships to those who otherwise may not be able to attend or participate in its high quality courses.
The following are encouraged to apply for scholarships:
Attorneys who are
Unemployed
Attorneys who work for
Nonprofit organizations
Legal services organizations
Judges
Judicial law clerks
Law professors
Law students
Law librarians
Attorneys in private practice who
seek to learn skills that will assist them in pro bono activities or are in need.
ALI-ABA awards scholarships to those who would otherwise be unable to attend. To apply for a scholarship to a particular program, please complete the scholarship application and submit it prior to the program date. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
Full and partial scholarships are granted on need and availability"
This strikes me as a generous, praiseworthy and potentially very useful program. I urge people who may be qualified to give it a try, and let me know what their experience may be. More Information: http://scholarships.ali-aba.org/
